Roaring Rails LLC was founded to do one thing well. Connect the people who have locomotives and parts with the people who need them.
We focus on what is real. What runs, what can be made to run, and what can be turned around for parts. We do not chase paper deals. We do not list equipment we have not seen. The yards we work with, the units we move, and the buyers we sell to are part of a network that took years of relationships to build.
Our market is North America with a deep working knowledge of the Mexico border and Latin American rail. We are based in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, which puts us hours from the busiest commercial crossing on the continent. That geography is not an accident. It is part of why our buyers trust us with cross-border deals.

Roaring Rails is the sales arm of a vertically integrated operation. Our sister company, LMM LLC, handles locomotive dismantling. The two companies work side by side. LMM tears down the units that have run their last mile. Roaring Rails finds the next home for the units that still have miles in them, and the parts that come off the ones that do not.
